三菱・4G63
三菱・4G63（みつびし・4G63）は、三菱自動車工業が開発した、三菱・4G6型エンジン系列における2,000cc級のガソリンエンジンである。歴代のランサーエボリューションシリーズに搭載されていることで知られる。最初の名は4G63ではなくG63B（後述）。通称「シリウスエンジン」。
4G63は排気量1,997cc・4気筒、水冷、ボア×ストロークは85×88mmで、いわゆるロングストローク型である。

シドニードラッグレースウェイの場所を調べたところ、シドニーモータースポーツパーク（旧イースタンクリーク）の隣でした。シドニーモータースポーツパークは、毎年ワールドタイムアタックを開催しているところです。

このマシン、相当速いようで、1/4マイルを7秒切りそうです。
ラジエターとインタークーラー　→　水冷ボトル式なのかどうなのか。
バーナウトと1/4マイル走行なので、ボトル式でOKと言うことだろうか。
ドラッグマシンには珍しい、パドルシフト。

Our trip down under has been filled with nothing but wild and crazy cars, and it’s not over yet! This may not have been the most radical vehicle we saw this trip, but it’s definitely a combination we didn’t expect! A turbo 4 Cylinder 4G63 engine powers this tiny little rocket down the track through a Lenko Transmission, but to make things REALLY interesting, that pair is combined with Paddle Shifters! Running in the Pro Compact class of Sydney’s Jamboree Drag Event at Sydney Dragway in Austrailia, this ROWDY little rocket went rounds trying to dip into the 6’s!
