“Anytime you feel negative emotion, stop and say: Something is important here; otherwise, I would not be feeling this negative emotion. What is it that I want? And then simply turn your attention to what you do want. . . . In the moment you turn your attention to what you want, the negative attraction will stop; and in the moment the negative attraction stops, the positive attraction will begin. And—in that moment—your feeling will change from not feeling good to feeling good. That is the Process of Pivoting.”
-Abraham Hicks

This story is telling us why there is a contrast.  Why there is the darkness and the light. If there is only the light, we can’t tell we are the light. Because of the darkness we can see the light.

Let’s take a look of what is going on right now in the outside world. The reason something unpleasant happens is to show you what you really want.
You can use it as a tool to show you your true desire.

If you focus on what you don’t like, it is the same as you empowering it.
Remember? We are a particle and a particle vibrates in tune with the attention we pay to it.

This is why mother Teresa said, “If you hold an anti-war rally, I shall not attend. But if you hold a pro-peace rally, invite me.”
