俳優のマット・デイモンは、
2010年1月27日に亡くなった活動家ハワード・ジンの長き友人であった。
2012年、１月31日、シカゴのメトロ・コンサートホールにて、
ハワードの2回忌に、1970年にハワードが「市民的不服従」の討論で行った
演説の一節を抜粋して朗読しています。
これは、2008年9月に公開された
"The People Speak, Live!（民衆は語る）"という
アメリカの長編ドキュメンタリーの中に収録されているものでもあります。
