（ただいま、イギリス🇬🇧在住）
イギリスでお肉料理を作りたいなと思ったのですが
スーパーに欲しいお肉の部位がない。
（みても、塊が巨大すぎて、
どの部位なんだかよくわからない。）
煮込み料理で、
日本ではすね肉が大好きで
よく使っていたのですが、
🇬🇧のスーパーで見つけられず。
イギリス人のお友達に聞いたら、
「すね肉は珍しい部位だから、
お肉の専門店にいかないと手に入らないかも。」
とのこと。
（すね肉なんて、日本ならいつでも手に入るものだと思ってたから、珍しい部位という扱いになるということにもびっくり。）
とりあえず、お肉屋さんに行ってみることに。
今回は、お肉屋さんに
どんなお肉があるのかなーというのをチェックするだけにして、変わりに、
お肉屋さんに売ってるお惣菜を買ってみました。
巨大なパイです。
牛肉とオニオン、ジャガイモの、
シチューのようなものが、
丸ごとパイ生地(クッキー生地)で
包まれた贅沢な一品❤️
肉屋さんにはたぶん、
牛のすね肉らしきものや頬肉があったので
今度味覚が回復したら、
これらのお肉を買ってみたいなって思っております❤️
今回は、イギリスの肉屋さんの様子。
私が買ってきたパイをカットして食べるとこを動画にのせてみました。☺️
I wanted to cook a meat dish in UK, but the supermarket didn't have the part of meat I wanted.
(The chunks are so huge, I'm not sure which part it is.)
When I make stews,I love shanks and used to make them all the time in Japan, but I couldn't find them in the supermarkets here. "You might have to go to a specialty meat store to get it."
That's what I was told by an UK friend.
Anyway, I decided to go to a butcher shop.
This time, I decided to just check what kind of meat they have at the butcher shop, and instead, I bought some of the delicacies they sell at the butcher shop.
It is a huge pie.
It's beef, onion, potatoes, and some sort of stew.
The whole thing is wrapped in a pie crust ❤️
The butcher had what looked like beef shanks and cheeks.
When my taste buds recover, I want to buy these meats❤️
I put a video of the butcher shop in the UK and the pie I bought and cut and ate.
