まもなくロードカーが販売開始となる911 GT3をベースとしてFIA GT3仕様に仕立てられる新世代の911 GT3 Rは、最近レースデビューした911 GT3 カップカーに続く、タイプ992型における2番目のレーシングカーとなる。
「我々は、992をベースにした新しいGT3 Rを2023年に持ち込む予定だ」とズーリンデンはSportscar365に対して認めた。
スパで、走行テストしていたみたい。

I'm so happy you managed to record it! Maybe it's just a personal impression but it seems they have taken a lot from the GTE car in terms of body proportions and dimensions. Probably not as wide as the RSR but it's way closer compared to the current 991.2 GT3 R. Nice video, mate! ;)
なんとか録画できてよかったですねー。個人的な印象かもしれませんが、ボディプロポーションやディメンションはGTE車からかなりパクっているような気がします。おそらくRSRほどワイドではないでしょうが、現行の991.2 GT3 Rに比べれば、ずっと近いと思います。

Anyone else notice the lack of a gurney on the rear wing @ 2:18? Perhaps explains the high foil angle: Porsche trying to split the difference between an aerodynamically "slippery" car and adequate rear downforce.
