Over the years we have seen our fair share of serious no prep cars. This year at Bounty Hunters we ran into a new build owned by Ronnie Hobbs that we think is a car to keep an eye on in the future. Bounty Hunters was the S10’s first event which is no small step by any means. The Texas Rattlesnake made it all the way to the big tire finals and the car isn’t dialed in yet as you can imagine! We cannot wait to see how Ronnie and the rest of the team progresses this season!

Rules & Regulations – 2018 No-Prep Nationals

THIS RACE WILL RUN THE DRAG STRIP BACKWARDS!
Friday TNT and the Race will be from the top end of the track back towards the starting line, ensuring a true no-prep, virgin surface. No times shown, No time slips, no qualifying. All run fields. Multiple Class entries ALLOWED. Jackpot race Friday if time allows for all classes.
- ALL Cars must pass tech and meet safety requirements specs similar to NHRA rules based on times their cars run. Track Tech will have Final say on all safety! Heartland reserves the right to refuse any driver or car.
- All drivers must have a current driver’s license AND all participants must sign a waiver prior to testing or competing. ALL cars must go through Tech, with ALL safety gear.
- Outlaw Big Tire and Small will receive weight sticker in tech.
- All drivers must be wearing ALL required safety gear entering into the burn out box otherwise racecar and driver will be shut down. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Pimp juice burnout only.
- All Outlaw Class racecars MUST have engine diapers AND or belly pan.
- Driver and crew ONLY allowed in staging lanes and starting area. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Big Tire and Small will be scaled after every round of competition. 2650lbs (with driver)
- All weight must be securely bolted inside of racecar.
- NO burnouts anywhere on the property other than drag strip.
- NO antifreeze in ANY cars!
- MUST attend drivers meeting to race.
- Only 1 Free Outlaw class entry per racer.
Outlaw Big Tire (OBT)
- Door cars ONLY. Must have factory steel roof and rear quarters. Wheelbase can be altered.
- MUST weight of 2650lbs (with driver)→1202kg
- All racecars must have working parachute(s).
- All racecars must start on their own and from inside. NO Jumps or crank overs from outside.
- Must have working light in rear of car.
