ポルシェのカーボンホイール開発が完了したようです。
BMW含めドイツ勢は、カーボン開発に凌ぎを削っている印象。

現在はホイールだけですが、今後、あらゆる部品が、
鉄→アルミ→マグネシウム→カーボン
（強度の必要な部品は、鉄→チタン）
と、言った具合に、置き換わっていくと予想されます。
コストは、量産技術を確立できれば、問題にならないです。
カーボン製品は付加価値で高く売れるので、安くは販売しないとは思うが・・・

電気自動車も見据えているなら、ボディのカーボン化もあるでしょうね。
