マン島TT 2017、RSTスーパーバイクのレースでは、ホンダ・レーシングのガイ・マーティンが、最初のラップでドランの曲がりで不運にもクラッシュ。

4速で曲がるコーナーだそうです。
ノーエンジンブレーキと言っているので、ギアが抜けたのか、噛みあいが欠けたか？

エンジンブレーキが無くなると、見越していた減速が無くなるので、結果的にオーバースピード→ラインが膨らみ→歩道の縁石にヒット→転倒でしょうか？

ガイ・マーティンは、相変わらず運の良い男だが、そもそも本当に運の良い男は、トラブルに遭遇しないと言う（笑）モチベーション下がってしまった感じですね。
ギリギリの公道レースで、マシントラブルは洒落にならないです。


During the Isle of Man TT 2017, RST Superbike race, Honda Racing’s Guy Martin unfortunately crashed at Doran's bend on his first lap. Guy reported that he hit a "box of neutrals" which caused him to berm the kerb and take a tumble.

Thankfully, Guy Martin walked away from the crash with only a bruised wrist and hopefully he'll be able to continue the rest of his TT 2017 campaign.
