Video Daniel Pharris’ Wild, High-Flying Crash At Tulsa!

Pharris was racing alongside Brandon Pesz in Keith Haneys’ nitrous-fed Camaro — which grabbed a little air of its own right out of the gate — when the nose of the beautiful C7 Corvette lifted at around the 250-foot mark and quickly went vertical, catching air under its bodywork and leaving the racing surface, sailing some 300-feet through the air before crashing back to earth near the finish stripe.
With Pharris merely a passenger, it would seem the car shedding the carbon fiber front end — a brand new piece just built for the car following an unfortunate fire at Lights Out 8 in February — played a key role in the car losing altitude rather than continuing its up-and-over trajectory.
The car isn’t as bad as what it looks and will be fixed just as quick as it was after the fire. I’d first and foremost like to thank Andrew and Kim Alepa for building literally the strongest and safest car on the planet and trusting me with their pride and joy.

One of the most INSANE drag racing passes we have filmed in the last 17 years. Daniel Pharris driving Andrew Alepa's beautiful Twin Turbo Corvette -vs- Brandon Pesz during the Radial Revenge event at Tulsa Raceway Park. Driver was out and OK but the car took a brutal hit. It looks like it could have been much worse if the front clip had not peeled off mid flight.
