This is Rico. 

She is a relative 

to my house cats.

Actually she is 

a granddaughter to

Kyoro.

When she was born, 

she was far too small 

and her navel cord 

far too large. 

So her breeder was told 

by the vet 

that she would not live 

longer than a week. 

However, the breeder, G chan, 

did not give up on her. 

G chan gave milk to Rico, 

and she drank it, 

well actually drank a lot of it.

So G chan decided to 

take full care of her 

and tried everything 

so that she could survive. 

A week passed, 

and everybody surrounding her 

prayed that she would make it. 

The navel cord dried, 

and she was able to be breast-fed.

Can you believe 

the vet declared 

her to be short-lived?

Rico started to grow, 

and become 

more and more beautiful. 

Thank God, 

she wasn't given up 

by her breeder, 

and thanks to the support 

from the owner, 

who had learned 

that she was declared short-lived 

and still dared to be 

all the more willing to 

become her owner, 

Rico seemed to start 

to become in full bloom. 

Now, five months old, 

it has been arranged 

that she should appear on TV 

with an actor, Mr. Takashi Naito. 

When she was born, 

it seemed that 

there was a long way 

to go to even just survive. 

But she climbed 

a rocky hill up to this brilliance! 

She is a great cat,
