On NHK Channel 1, they started broadcasting Downton Abbey again. In Season 3, what almost everyone regarded as a hero, Mathew, died, and I thought the charm might decrease somewhat, but when I watched the first episode of Season 4 and enjoyed the story, I found the storyline even more philosophical. I especially enjoyed the part where Mary and Mr Carson overcame the sorrow together. They seem to have many things they have gone through so far, and their bonds even made Mary straightforward with her feelings and difficulties and she was able to admit that she had given up living in the real world. The story was so encouraging. What is most wonderful about this drama is that the characters maintain their strength and pride, getting over depressions and disappointment that the reality has to give humans. They always keep their heads up and with a stiff upper lip they go through difficulties. I love this strength of characters. It is fantastic!
