【路麺の日】西大島花丸そば

昨日の朝はマーマイトマフィン

I prepared MARMITE muffin sandwich in the morning. I would explain for people who don't know it, MARMITE is a spread of yeast extract that has unique flavor. It is popular in the UK and Australia but it is controversial. I love it.

土曜日は路麺の日

馬喰横山駅で電車を乗り換える時にお汁の匂いがしてきました、文殊があります。

I felt bad but I went out with wearing a facemask because I am supposed to promote "Saturday is Romen Day" campaign. I changed the train at Bakuro-Yokoyama Station. It smelled good because Monju, a small scale stand soba noodle restaurant chain, was open.

西大島駅です。江東区ですね。

I got off at Nishi-ojima Station. This area is in Koto ward.

「大入」が光ってます。

It seems this "大入" wooden signboard was presented from others. This signboard is a prayer for business success.

Two older women operated preparing noodles.

春菊天そば。春菊は軽くカットしてあるタイプですね。

I ordered suhngiku-ten (fried crown daisy) soba noodles. It was 460 yen.

麺は製麺所製の茹で麺ですが、フワフワではなくしっかりとした食感です。春菊にもしっかりと苦みが残ってます。お汁は混合節かそんな感じの出汁パックで取ったお出汁かな？こりゃ美味しいや。ごちそうさまでした。

The soba noodle is factory made boiled soba noodles with hard texture. A texture of ordinary factory made boiled soba noodles is usually soft but it had hard texture. I like this shungiku-ten, this rough cut crown daisy remained bitterness. I am not sure but I felt the soup was prepared by themselves from mixed fish broth.
