By the time a climber is ready, the mountain may no longer exist. The unclimbable mountains grow higher and higher, and the climbed mountains grow lower and lower. We all long to reach the summit, but there is nothing there. We weave through valleys and lush, fertile lands. We learn, we grow, and we learn what drives us to reach life's next peak. The climb to the summit always takes longer than we imagined. Don't fool yourself. There will come a time when what once seemed close will still seem far away.
